Its been an absolutely crazy, order-filled week with four orders. I received a call from an acquaintance from school who asked if it was possible for me to do her 21st birthday cake, which was four days away. I agreed after seeing the design as it was not too hard to do given the limited time and the other orders I had on hand.
Chocolate Fudge Cake covered with Fondant/Fondant Decorations
6″ x 4″ top tier
8″ x 3″ bottom tier
All decorations on the cake were made from fondant except the gerbera which was made from gumpaste. The damask design was cut from Wilton’s latest product – sugar sheets. In all, the cake took between 8 – 10 hours to complete due to the rain and humidity. I’m happy with the end result, heard the birthday girl was too! 🙂
